Just posted a short actual play and review as part of Solitaire Storytelling!
Laser Beams Like So Many Stars
A downloadable game
You are a huge fan of mechs and their amazing pilots. You love to watch their heroics on the news, you visit when pilots come to your town, you own multiple letterman jackets emblazoned with mech pilots’ insignias. You’re burdened with the dream of piloting, eclipsed by the fear that you will never be more than a spectator. You love that which is unfathomably above you. Let’s talk about that.
Laser Beams Like So Many Stars was written early 2019 for the Emotional Mech Jam, also known as the #sadmechjam. As I described it on posting: "I had some real FOMO about #sadmechjam so I wrote a game about having some real FOMO about super awesome mechs and their rad pilots. Laser Beams Like So Many Stars is an #rpg about being a civilian in the amazing world of robots and how that might feel."
